Day 1: Colombo - Pinnawala - Kandy

Once you will arrive at the Bandaranaike International Airport, you will get escorted to Kandy. On the way, visit the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage. Check in at hotel on arrival in Kandy and enjoy sightseeing. Many of the legends, traditions and folklore of Kandy are still kept alive. Visit Kandy Lake and the local market, Temple of the Tooth Relic, Kandy town, gem museum, the Arts & Crafts Centre and a lapidary. Later enjoy a cultural performance. Night halt at Kandy.

Day 2: Kandy - Peradeniya - Nuwara Eliya

Visit the Royal Botanical Garden at Peradeniya. Later proceed towards Nuwara Eliya and visit a tea plantation en route. On arrival, check in at a hotel and enjoy a city tour. At the tea plantation and tea factory, observe the process of making tea. You can also see how tea is graded and taste a cup of pure Ceylon tea. During the tour of the Nuwara Eliya enjoy the mountain scenery and golf courses. Night halt at Nuwara Eliya.

Day 3: Nuwara Eliya - Colombo

Have breakfast and leave for Colombo. Explore the city on arrival after check in at hotel. The tourist hotspots of Colombo include a visit to clock tower that is around 100 years old. You will also visit a number of colonial buildings, erected during the British era. Other attractions are Pettah bazaar, a temple of Buddhist followers, posh residential areas, Colombo museum, Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall, the new Parliament and Dutch Museum. Overnight stay in the hotel in Colombo.

Day 1: Arrival in Colombo - Kandy (3 hours)

As you arrive at the Colombo Bandaranayake International Airport, our tour representative escorts you to the assigned vehicle so that you can get transferred to Kandy. On the way, take a halt to visit the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage. A shelter home for abandoned, injured and orphaned elephants that are taken care of by caretakers and volunteers. Watch then bathing, feeding and assisting elephants. Walk with a herd of elephants up to the river nearby to watch them play and bathe. Later, continue towards Kandy, the last capital of ancient Sri Lankan kings. Placed amid hills, Kandy is the country's second largest city and is also one of its 7 World Heritage sites that has blessed with abundant natural beauty. This lovely city boasts of lush grasslands, splendid lake, Sri Lanka's longest river and mist-clad mountains. This place has a lot to offer to its visitors. On arrival, complete the check-in. Check-in is followed by sightseeing in Kandy. The first visit of the day is to Temple of tooth Relic, locally known as Sri Dalada Maligawa. This temple is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, which is also one of the most revered Buddhist sites in the world. Next in line is the visit to the Peradeniya Botanical Gardens, a heaven for nature enthusiasts. Spread in a verdant space of 147 acres of land, this garden is visited by over 1.2 million people every year. It houses around 300 varied varieties of orchids, medicinal plants, palm trees and spices too. Later, explore the amazing Gem Museum, producing world's finest quality gems and semi-precious stones including glistening sapphires in different shades like green, white, red, blue and even more. Day 2: Kandy – Nuwara Eliya (2.5 hours)

Post breakfast on day 2 at the hotel, get ready to leave for Nuwara Eliya, fondly referred to as the City of Lights. Encircled by lush tea plantations and hills, this lovely city has been blessed with a pleasant weather, colorful meadows, green ambiance and superb views of the mountains and valleys. This place is also called 'Little England', a favorite hill town of the British who founded it as a typical English hamlet. A country house like hill club with trophies and hunting pictures, formal dinner cloth, a bricked post office, a horse race course and an 18 hole golf course are ample proofs of the same. On reaching, check-in at the hotel. Explore the popular attractions of Nuwara Eliya including Victoria Park, the golf course and the trout streams. Later, you can enjoy boat riding and fishing at Lake Gregory. Your next visit can be to a tea factory where you can see the production of the finest Orange Pekoe tea in the world from the slow-growing tea bushes of this highland region. Some of the other attractions that you may also visit include Haggala Gardens and Seetha Eliya. While the latter one is a temple from the great Hindu epic Ramayana, the former one is a temperate hill-country garden where one can spot leisurely low-country lotus and water lily floating in pristine environs. Day 3: Nuwara Eliya – Bentota (5.5 hours)

After breakfast, the day is scheduled for sightseeing in Nuwara Eliya. Visit the lovely coastal town of Bentota that is known for offering memorable experiences. Also known as the 'City of Golden Beaches', Bentota is an ideal place to relax and spend some memorable moments with the loved ones. This place boasts of water sports opportunities, several historical sights and coral reef exploration on glass boats. After completing the check-in, your day is scheduled for city tour and fun activities. Visit the popular beaches to simply relax and soak-in the sun. Go for a leisure walk while savoring the serenity and scenic beauty. During the city tour, enjoy boating in River Madhu where you treat your eyes to the wonderful scenery and lush mangroves covering several islets. If you want, you can also visit the Turtle Hatchery here. Opened in 1981 by the Wildlife Protection Society in 1981, this hatchery is the main turtle nesting site. You can spot large tanks that contain new born turtles. Once these turtle babies are fed and they are 2 to 4 days old, they are released in the sea, generally during dark hours when it is safe.

Day 4: Bentota – Colombo (2 hours)

After having breakfast on the 4th day of the tour, get ready to go back to Colombo, the commercial capital of Sri Lanka and the largest city too. Placed on the west coast, this bustling colorful city is a mix of colonial and modern touches. The city is dotted with several architectural marvels, colonial buildings with British, Portuguese and Dutech influences along with Hindu, Buddhist, Islamic, Contemporary and Indian structures. It is also a popular tourist shopping destination. Once you are done with the check-in formalities, you can partake in the city tour of Colombo. The list of tourist attractions in Colombo that are worth-visiting include the Viharamahadevi Park, Galle Face Green, Fort district, National Museum, Old Parliament Building, Twin World Trade Center towers and Independence Hall at Independence Square. The city is also dotted with places of worship of different religion like Buddhist, Hindu, Islam and Christianity. Beaches of Sri Lanka - 4 Night & 5 Days

Day 1: Arrival in Colombo - Bentota

Arrive at the Sri Lanka Airport. Meet our tour representative who helps you in getting transferred to Bentota, the city of the Golden Beaches. On arrival complete the check-in formalities at the hotel. The whole atmosphere of the city and its beaches with soft sand is quite relaxed. While partaking in water sports, admire the touristy feel of the place. Now get ready for a city tout that starts with a boat ride along the River Madhu. Offering scenic views, amid relaxing environs, the boat sails past a number of islets, forested with mangroves. Admire the nature's rhythms, all around you. Later, you can visit the turtle hatchery, the chief turtle nesting site that was opened in the year 1981 by the Wild Life Protection Society. Have a look at the huge tank that is filled with newborn turtle hatchlings. Once these baby turtles are 2-4 days' old, they are released in the sea during dark hours.

Day 2: Bentota

After breakfast, day 2 is at leisure. You can enjoy at the beautiful beaches of Bentota on your own. You can either simply relax or can partake in water sports activity. You can try your hand at jet skiing, river fishing, wake boarding, wind surfing, water skiing, surfing, tube ride, deep sea fishing, snorkeling, river cruises and so on. Day 3: Bentota

Post lip-smacking breakfast at the hotel, the day is at leisure. You can visit the popular attractions of Bentota on your own such as Brief Garden, Kande Vihare Temple, Sri Kalyanarama Maha Vihara, Cinnamon Island, Dutch Fort and so on. Day 4: Bentota - Colombo

On 4th day, after breakfast, get transferred to Colombo, the commercial capital and the largest city of Sri Lanka. This bustling city on the West Coast is a wonderful amalgam of colonial and modern features. While on one side, there are Dutch, Portuguese and British buildings, on the other side there are contemporary Hindu, Buddhist, and Indian structures. It also has a huge number of departmental stores and shopping malls. As you reach, check into the hotel. Day 1: Colombo - Negombo

The exciting Ramayana trip begins with your arrival in Colombo, where you will be escorted to further proceed to Negombo. After reaching, you check- in at the hotel and leave for a short Negombo trip. In the evening you return back to the hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 2: Negombo - Chilaw - Kandy

The second day is exciting and the sites that are to be visited are in association to Lord Rama’s Mythology. Right after breakfast, you leave for Muneshwaram and Manawari, it is believed that Lord Rama rested in the area on his way back to Ayodhya after defeating king Ravana. He was also trying to get rid of the enemies, Ravana’s men who were the Bhramins. You continue your trip towards Kady, on the way, visit the Pinnawala Elephant orphanage that shelters about 70 orphaned elephants. You also visit the Herbal Garden and the Dalada Maligai, the most sacred place for Buddhists for the relic of Lord Buddha is there. The activity of the day ends with a fantastic dance performance at a cultural show. Later you retire for the night at the hotel.

Day 3: Kandy - Nuwara Eliya

In the morning, after breakfast, you head out to visit the botanical gardens at Peradeniya. The garden consists of multiple variety of plants and flowers, one of the main features of the place is the Orchid House. You further continue towards Nuwara Eliya, on the way you visit the Sri Baktha Hanuman Temple. The large stretches of tea plantations are the main mark of the area, you also visit the tea factory to observe the manufacturing process. In the afternoon you go out for a short sightseeing trip in Nuwara Eliya, very interestingly, you can find a pretty British influenced town. The homes consist of well kept lawns, an Angilican Church and golf course with beautiful parks. The refreshing air and the cool climate of the place leaves you nostalgic. After this refreshing exploration, you return back to the hotel and stay overnight.

Day 4: Nuwara Eliya

After breakfast, you visit the Seetha Amman Temple and Ashoka Vathika; it is believed that the Seetha Amman, stream that flows was a great help to Sita during her stay at the Ashok Vatika. You can even go to the Huggala Botanical Garden. Divurumpola, is a spot where Seetha Devi undertook the task of Agni Pariksha (fire test) and now the locals come and offer their prayers here. On the way back, you visit the Sri - Lankatheeswarar Temple made by Gayathri Siddhar in 1974. In the evening, you return back to your hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 5: Nuwara Eliya - Colombo

You proceed to Colombo right after breakfast. You visit the Anjaneyar Temple in Sri Lanka, Panchamuga (five faced) which has the chariot of Ajanyear. Then there is Kelaniya Temple, which is believed to be that after Ravana’s death, Vibeeshana was made the King of Lanka and the coronation was held on this spot. The main course of the Ramayan took place in the Ramayana, and to put faces to the voice of Valmiki’s epic is a different experience altogether. Colombo is like many other capitals, it is ever ready to grow and develop, but at the same time, it houses a great number of ancient artifacts and historical significant. After visiting some attractions, you return back to the hotel and stay overnight.
